The shoes are made of a delicious soft, flexible leather that is textured so that it can take a lot of bruising. And that's just the point: The shoes take the bruising instead of your feet. Bleyer's patented special sole and cushioned insoles act as shock absorbers when you come in for a landing from those daring airsteps.

The wonderful flexibility of the soft leather and the special formula souls enable you to use your foot segmentally -- sometimes the whole foot, sometimes just the ball of the foot, and so on. That refinement in footwork is what makes a topnotch dancer.

We recommend you add the Bleyer insoles to guarantee proper fit, to support your arch and to hold your foot in the correct placement inside the shoe. And, as we said, to soften your landings.
